Join us for a day of skiing and pickin’ the bluegrass music.

Skiers meet at the bottom of Griz at 9:30 if you want to ski together. Otherwise look for us on the hill. I’ll be wearing bright green ski jacket and red helmet.

Join us for a day of skiing at Snowbowl and a night of pickin’ the bluegrass music at Ruby’s.

We have a caller Bev Young, who has a vast wealth of experience
calling dances with mixed aged groups and with kids, as well as a
collection of fun sounding dances that are suitable for families with
school aged children.

There is a sound system and back-up sound system already at the school.

 

MRBA Spring Festival 2012

Directions:  5.5 miles north of Stevensville on East Side Highway, then 3 miles up Three Mile Creek

Cost:  $5/$3 MRBA Members

Decription:  A family-friendly event with lots of pickin’ and grinnin’.  Good home cooked food.
Bring your instrument and join the parking lot and classroom jams.

January Jam at Ruby’s

Please join us for the 1st of our 2012 Winter Jam Series

Description:  This is the first of our 2012 Second Saturday jams at Ruby’s.  This is also going to be the premier of our Slow Pitch jams, for jam beginners.   If you’ve been wanting to get started, pickin’ the bluegrass music with others, this is the perfect opportunity.  The slow pitch jam provides a warm and fuzzy cocoon for incubating your pickin’ skills.  (see Mark’s story).
